With facilities already near Toledo and Columbus, UPS needed additional sorting and delivery capacity and sought the most suitable location in Northwest Ohio.

The company, with more than 500,000 employees worldwide, ultimately chose North Baltimore, becoming the first tenant in Logistics Park Ohio, adjacent to the CSX.

UPS, the world’s largest package delivery company, cited the infrastructure and proximity to the interstate as key factors in its site location decision, providing better efficiency and time-in-transit. The new facility will be fully automated.
