A leading manufacturer of engineered thermoplastics and custom packaging solutions has announced plans to expand its Northwest Ohio operations, creating new jobs and investment for the Paulding County community.
Spartech LLC, located in Paulding, Ohio, will invest $1.6 million in new machinery and equipment and add 20 new jobs to support growing customer demand. The company’s goal is to improve efficiencies with greater automation to better service customers.

Spartech, with headquarters in Missouri, employs more than 1,000 people at 16 locations nationwide, including 100 currently at its Paulding facility. From sustainability to supply chains, the company proactively addresses key critical issues by providing innovative solutions across a wide range of industries.
With many plant locations, the company had options for where to expand, but ultimately chose its Northwest Ohio facility because of stable workforce production as well as its proximity to the customer base.

The expansion is expected to begin in the next several months.
