Don’t mention an economic slowdown to Northwest Ohio. On just one day in mid-December, the Regional Growth Partnership announced new corporate investment across the region exceeding $362 million. This new investment, announced in collaboration with regional and state economic development partners, included the attraction of more than 1,200 new jobs to Northwest Ohio.

Imasen Bucyrus Tech
Bucyrus, Crawford County
IB-Tech is an independent automotive parts manufacturer, supplying manufacturers with high-quality seat adjusters for a variety of top selling cars and trucks. The company is investing $15.3 million to expand into the EV market. The company demonstrated its commitment to Northwest Ohio with plans to hire 170 new people.

La Linea Verde
North Baltimore, Wood County
Italian family-owned company La Linea Verde is recognized as a market leader in the production of fresh salads, soups and fresh-ready meals, both under its own brands and as co-packers. The company will invest $10 million and create 77 new jobs in establishing its first U.S. operating facility in Northwest Ohio. Occupying a new 100,000 SF spec building in North Baltimore right off I-75, the company is committed to focusing on sustainability, regional sourcing and local workforce integration.

LogistiQ
Port Clinton, Ottawa County
The material handling solutions provider for parcel and ecommerce will expand its Port Clinton operations, along with expansion at the parent company, LEWCO, in Sandusky. The LogistiQ expansion, which will include 170 new jobs in Port Clinton, will assist the company’s commitment to advance vertical integration while keeping design, engineering, fabrication, assembly and testing under one roof. The total investment at both locations is approximately $24 million.

Revere Plastic Systems
Clyde, Sandusky County
This plastics injection molding company has announced a $111 million investment to expand and establish a stronger foothold in the fast-expanding energy storage industry. The project is expected to create 378 new jobs with investment going toward injection molding machines, robots, automation and tooling. The recent surge in data center development and significant energy to support it has fueled rapid growth for Revere Plastic Systems.

Wieland Chase
Montpelier, Williams County
The largest brass manufacturing company in North America has announced a nearly $28 million expansion in Williams County. The project, which includes a 170,000 square-foot plant expansion, will lead to the creation of 43 new jobs. The expansion is being driven by entry into a new product market where the company looks to position itself as the only manufacturer capable of supplying all forms of brass to the market.
These new projects continue the surge of investment and momentum across Northwest Ohio as businesses capitalize on the talent, assets and strengths this region offers.
