Rosenboom Machine and Tool Adding 70 New Jobs in Northwest Ohio
To meet growing customer demand, a leading manufacturer of custom, crafted hydraulic cylinders has announced plans to expand its Northwest Ohio operations.
Rosenboom Machine and Tool will invest $4 million for new manufacturing capabilities at its Bowling Green facility, allowing it to increase production of its high-quality products. The investment will be made over the next 36 months, consisting of CNC machines, saws, custom-made equipment and robotic weld systems. This equipment will convert raw material to a complete cylinder utilizing lean manufacturing methods.
The first phase is a new production line which when fully staffed will require 12 employees as well as additional employees in existing production lines that produce components for this new line. The total project will increase the workforce by 70 people when fully implemented across shifts.
Rosenboom chose to invest in the Bowling Green facility to increase support to customers in the Eastern United States. The Wood County facility is strategically located to many critical and qualified vendors that are key to its ability to grow. Rosenboom highlighted the Northwest Ohio workforce, which offers the necessary skills and potential to help the company succeed.
“Along with JobsOhio and the Bowling Green Community Development Foundation, the RGP congratulates Rosenboom for its commitment and continued investment in this region”. The company’s dedication to its clients in providing superior products and custom solutions validates the skill sets of Northwest Ohio’s quality workforce.”
