Northwest Ohio businesses added more than 300 new jobs in the second quarter this year, investing $55 million into their operations. The results, announced by the Regional Growth Partnership, were produced by businesses across the 17-county region through the collaborative support of economic development partners at the local and state levels.

One significant investment in the second quarter came through B-K Tool & Design which announced an expansion project constructing a 50,000 square-foot facility to enhance manufacturing and engineering capabilities. The turnkey automation solutions provider plans to add 37 new jobs at its Putnam County location.

Overall in 2025, businesses in the Northwest Ohio region have added 632 new jobs and invested more than $179 million.
