A leading producer of e-commerce auto parts in Northwest Ohio has announced plans to build a new facility to support its rapid growth.

Doc’s Diesel, located in Bryan, Ohio, is constructing a new 42,000 square-foot facility that will allow the company to meet growing demand and the expansion into new markets. The company mainly serves the auto parts industry, as well as do-it-yourself clients, in all 50 states.

Founder and owner Max Nihart said the company’s expansion plans include entering new markets such as brakes and hub assemblies, and a new subsidiary business that will sell gas filters for all vehicles.

“Our team is tremendous, and being centrally located in the Midwest allows us to ship our products fast and efficient to all 50 states,” Nihart said.

The Williams County company provides e-commerce, wholesale, warehousing and distribution. With a project investment exceeding $4 million, Doc’s Brands will hire 39 new people over time.

Founded in 2020, Doc’s Diesel prides itself as the new standard in diesel aftermarket filters, known for quality and reliability. Its premium filter line includes engine air, cabin air, fuel filters, oil filters and a variety of oil and additives for Cummins, Powerstroke, Duramax and EcoDiesel trucks.

“Doc’s Diesel’s strategic decision to expand its operations and enter new markets shows how automotive suppliers are thriving in Ohio’s supportive business environment. As a homegrown supplier of diesel aftermarket filters to customers in all 50 states, Doc’s Diesel will invest in a new 42,000-square-foot facility in Bryan, bringing 39 new jobs as demand continues to grow.”

Nihart complimented the collaboration among the economic development partners that helped move the project forward, including JobsOhio, the Regional Growth Partnership and Williams County Economic Development Corporation.

“We are excited that Doc’s Diesel, a local company, is the first to develop on a portion of our SiteOhio Authenticated Bryan North Industrial Park,” said Ashley Epling, executive director, Williams County Economic Development. “We look forward to the positive impact this project will have on our local economy and remain dedicated to promoting continued growth in Williams County.”

The company expects to move into the new facility in the fall of 2025.
