A Pre-Seed, Early Stage Venture Fund for Technology-Based Entities/Companies Operating within the State of Ohio Northwest Ohio’s Resource for Tech-Based Entrepreneurs & Start-Ups Local universities and community colleges are also paving the way for innovation and commercialization. Our educational institutions are major resources for advanced materials, biotechnology, alternative energy and information technology research. More and more, research at these institutions is making its way into the marketplace, helping to create jobs, grow the local economy and establish our region as a location for technology advancement. Through support of a State of Ohio grant, the Regional Growth Partnership, along with a collaboration of local and state partners, is leading the initiative to help small and medium-sized technology companies grow, creating high-value jobs and a reputation for success.
